Had a wonderful experience with the Gastro & Grafitti tour. It was much more than I expected. Our guide was lovely, very knowledgeable about the history of Panama, which she shared very well. All the food we got to sample was an unexpected, delightful bonus. I highly recommend Damselfly Tours and will be using them again!

Rosa our guide was great, funny and knowledgeable. The trip to the canal could just as easily be done by public bus but the extra boat trip on the canal and to see Capuchin and Tamarind monkeys made it worthwhile. Having said that the monkey island trip is a bit of a circus. As far as tours go, the Damselfly tour was great, Rosa really knows how to look after people.

Nicolas was a great guide, informative and fun. Jungle walk and float was lovely with much wildlife. Lunch had an amazing view. Sloths did not perform any acrobatic dances that day.

This trip was perfect match for us. We really enjoyed seeing & smelling all those wonderful flowers and tasting all those (for us) exotic fruits.
I loved pineapple before I came here, but now I just fall in love with this fruit. Pineapples growing on this organic farm are just top of the sweetness and flavor what pineapple can offer… Well it is a wonderful surprise in that trip. Go there with Damselfly and find it out😀

Extremely knowledgeable in all travel matters throughout Panama. The ladies were super helpful and patient when it came to our itinerary. When they didn’t know an answer to a question they patiently contacted their sources to find out the information. After great advice, we booked two excursions with Damselfly - once the canal tour including a boat trip and then a trip to the San Blas Islands with an overnight stay. The canal tour was very interesting.

We had a wonderful morning walking tour with our guide Nicholas. He was extremely knowledgeable, encouraged questions, and we felt like we got to know him. He was definitely not on a script! Damselfly Tours was very accommodating and let us combine two walking tours - the Walking Tour and the Graffiti tour. We got the best of Casco Viejo, street art, the jungle park, markets, and the highest point above Panama City. Our feet our tired but we are happy!

My daughter, my wife and I stayed in Panama City and had unforgettable experiences. First of all, I would like to mention the friendly lady Dorkas who works in the Damselfly city office. We were very impressed by Dorkas' humane approach, finding solutions to our problems, helping us, and doing all of this with a smile and a positive approach. Without her, we would have had difficulties in our trip. We would like to thank her thousands of times for her empathetic approach, strong human relations, and solution-oriented approach. As a family, we think Damselfly is very lucky to have an employee like Doras.
The colonial texture of the old city was unique with the joy, songs, dance and fresh food of the people on the streets. We really enjoyed the Panama Canal and Monkey Island tour. Our tour guide was informative and friendly. Thank you Damselfly!

My review of Damselfly couldn't actually be better.
We happened to be walking through the old town when we came across Damselfly.
We briefly looked at the reviews and then went straight to the store and got advice.
All employees can speak English.
We try to explain each tour to the customer with photos.
We decided on the Panama Canal tour with Monkey Island (6 hours approx) and the following day on the San Blas Islands with an overnight stay.

The tour exceeded my expectations! I did the Full Day Canal Tour and I was impressed by Nicholas on the tour. He was incredibly well-trained and knowledgable, and got to see a full cargo ship go through the canal at the perfect moment. Gamboa and Monkey Island adventure was a fun experience as well. Will definitely book more tours with this company next time I'm back in Panama!!!

Really nice tour! Communication was awesome, the driver/guide Christian was very nice, gave us a lot of information. His driving was safe.
Pick up and drop off at my hotel was very convenient.
Also Our guide (Christian) was very good towards the monkeys, he told us great indications to respect the monkey’s environment. Very respectful of the wildlife.
Prior the tour I went to their physical agency, The owner was nice and friendly.

Damselfly is the best tour company my wife and I have worked with! Sophie will help you with your booking, and Christian will take you out on your tour. They are both very personable and made my wife and I feel totally comfortable. We ended up booking three tours with Damselfly while in Panama, one beach trip on the Caribbean side near Portobello Island, another trip to see monkeys on Gaton lake (IN the famous Panama canal) and finally a sailboat trip. Christian picked us up right at our hotel each time and kept us entertained with good conversation interspersed with facts about Panama. On these tours, we even made some new friends. If you've never used a tour guide before or you aren't sure which to use, Damselfly will be a fantastic choice, you'll have a fun time and learn many things about Panama in the process, you might even make some new friends like we did!

We used Damselfly for a 1/2 day trip to Gamboa. Please book your excursions with them! The staff is incredible, flexible, and easy to work with. We were able to customize our tour to fit our needs. The drivers were awesome and informative. Every step along the way, we were kept up to date with important information.

Had a wonderful day with Christian as our guide and driver exploring Gamboa Rainforest Reserve. Started with a boat ride on Lake Gatun and visited Monkey Island where we were lucky enough to see lots of amazing wildlife and share our boat with the cheeky monkeys! It was great to see the large container ships passing through Miraflores or Pedro Miguel locks but so much more impressive being in a speedy motor boat following them on open water - awesome. Enjoyed the aerial tram (with audio guide) and ambling up the look out tower - spectacular and extensive views over Canal and surrounding areas. Meeting the sloths, seeing the frogs, butterflies, battling lizards and orchids all added to a memorable day. Christian was charming, knowledgeable and informative on all matters Panamanian. He obviously loves his job and sharing his passion for the environment. Also gave us some excellent suggestions for restaurants and further activities. Would not hesitate to recommend Damselfly Travel Tours.

I did the Full Gamboa Day with them, that started with a jungle walk along the Plantation trail. Our guide Nicolas showed us some things I had never seen before, like a defence mechanism that this tree has developed against termites. Sailing the Panama Canal was fascinating. On one side giant ships on the other pure nature. Not just the expected monkeys, but also e.g. these bats sleeping on a tree. The visit to the Rainforest Reserve with it's rescued sloths and frogs was more interesting than I had imagined. It's not cheap, but it was a very rewarding day.

*The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and really left an impression on us.
*The tours are very well thought out. We never felt rushed (which tends to happen when you do group tours). With these group tours, we were able to enjoy every location we visited, ample time to take pictures, ask questions and take it all in.

I went on several day excursions with Damselfly Tours while in Panama City and all were were both fun and fascinating. The French owner/operator Sophie is a very cool person and the friendly Venezuelan driver Luis is very knowledgeable about places in Panamá. I went to a tour to Lago Bayano where we hiked into a cave and also went kayaking, went to Portobelo, Colón to go kayaking and visit an island with a beach; arranged a custom tour to see the city of Colón and some nearby places of interest such as Fort of San Lorenzo - which was fadcinating , and went on a boat trip in Lago Gatun to see monkeys and other wildlife. Loved my experience with them. My husband and I took advantage of the in-city bike tour, Canal full-day tour, San Blas excursion, and Whale Watching excursion, all of which were amazing memories I will cherish deeply. We did so many excursions with them because after each one, we were so pleased that we wanted to continue to use them. Rosa was amazing in giving our bike tour and setting up the rest of our tours. All of the tour guides were very knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend using their tour services.

We booked an excellent tour with Damselfly last month (monkey island), so when we needed help with a trip to San Blas we came back to Sophie for advice. She helped us select a great catamaran sailing trip that fit our needs perfectly. That's really important because finding the right option in San Blas can be tricky: get there by road or flight, just day-trip or overnight, sleep in an island hut or catamaran, etc. Sophie interviewed us about our preferences and presented options . That's the type of service that gets 5-stars every time!

Damselfly hooked me up with two great city tours! One morning I took the bike tour followed the next day by the graffiti tour. Both were led by Nicolas, who had an amazing knowledge of all things panama to share. I particularly liked all the personal touches about his life connecting to the neighborhoods and historical events. The whole booking experience at their office in Casco was simple and friendly starting with them sending me their brochure offerings on WhattsApp. Highly recommend giving Damselfly a look in you're interested in city tours or day trips from Panama City.

In the morning we walked in the forest and saw monkeys, an eagle and sloths! We heard the howler monkeys, it was impressive! After an hour we were at the sloth sanctuary in a hotel. There was a large greenhouse of butterflies and frogs+ 2 sloths at the sanctuary in a cage. Then, meal at the hotel and 2 hours on the gatún lake to approach some islands with monkeys climbing on the boat. We also passed very large impressive boats. We are satisfied with our experience. Thanks to Nicolas our guide!

Very friendly staff who also speak good English. We were looking for a way to book a trip to the San Blas Islands and found this agency more or less by accident. Everything was just right here! There were many options when booking and certainly the perfect package for everyone. We felt well advised and were very happy with the tour in the end. In exchange with other San Blas tourists, it also turned out that ours was one of the cheapest tours. Others ended up with almost the same tour, but it was a lot more expensive, e.g. via getyourguide. Clear recommendation!

I had the pleasure of taking 2 tours with Damselfly, to the Bayano Caves and Gatun-Monkey Island. Both absolutely amazing! I wish that I had known about Damselfly earlier as they have many more wonderful tours around Panama at great prices with tremendous value.
I HIGHLY recommend the Bayano Caves, an absolute must that is not really offered elsewhere!
Sophie is incredible- so friendly, so professional and follows through on every last detail! Luis is so sweet and such a wonderful communicator! It was an absolute pleasure to be on tour with them!

Our Casco Viejo Bike Tour was exceptional. This was our first trip to Panama and we wanted to experience Casco Viejo from a different perspective. We have found that bike tours of big cities are a great way of learning about what these cities have to offer from a different perspective. It is more personal than big bus tours and allows us to cover more ground than on foot.
Damselfly Travels fell onto to our lap as we were lost in Casco Viejo and luckily came across Sophie and her tour company. We signed up for her Bike Tour of Casco Viejo and enjoyed every bit of the four hour tour. The tour was thorough and culminated in Sabores del Chorillo, which is a less travelled, less touristy area of Casco Viejo. We sampled some of the best fresh seafood and tostones that we have ever tasted.
Sophie and Vincent were gracious hosts and shared their wonderful life stories with us along the course of the tour.
We will definitely recommend Damselfly Travels Tours to our friends traveling to Panama and only regret not having come across Sophie and Vincent earlier during our trip to Panama.

Everyone at Damselfly was excellent. We did three tours with three different guides and all were amazing. We did two city tours (bike tour and a hike of Cerro Ancon) and the Gatun Lake tour with the Miraflores Locks. If you only have time for one tour then the Gatun Lake and Miraflores Locks is my choice since you get to see the Panama Canal and hopefully some monkeys (we did!). Overall, excellent service and excellent people.

Unforgettable excursion with an excellent tour provider.
Our experience with this tour provider, especially our excursion to the Embera Indians, was nothing short of wonderful. We found this agency by chance as the first agency we had in mind (TaoTravel) was not really competent in organizing us a trip to the San Blas Islands. With Damselfly we had an agency that put a lot of effort into organizing our trip and turning it into an unforgettable experience. Their staff was very kind and flexible with regard to our ideas.
